On February 7, Party School of the Central Committee of CPC (National Academy of Governance) hosted a seminar on studying and implementing the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress for newly elected members and alternate members of the Central Committee and provincial and ministerial leading cadres. General Secretary Xi Jinping personally gave the "first lesson of the New Year" at the opening of the special seminar. The theme of the "lecture" was the Chinese path to modernization.
The unique worldview, values, conception of history, civilization view, democracy view, and ecological view contained in the Chinese path to modernization and its great practice are major innovations in the theory and practice of global modernization. Chinese path to modernization has set a good example for other developing countries to step forward to modernization independently and offered them a new choice.
