Recently, Far East Energy Storage assisted in the construction of a 200MW800MWh independent energy storage power station in Hengshui, Hebei Province. It is the largest single string energy storage power station project in China and has been successfully connected to the grid and running smoothly. The energy storage system adopts the self-developed PowerSTROM 5000 series liquid cooled energy storage container, with a single capacity of 5.016MWh, which has the characteristics of high energy efficiency, stability and reliability, and flexible configuration. The product adopts a standard 20 foot single-sided door opening design, which can achieve multi-level fire protection architecture and multi-level linkage protection. The intelligent temperature control system effectively controls temperature rise and temperature difference, effectively improving the system's cycle life. The 5MW converter boost integrated unit in the project consists of a 5000kVA boost transformer and 24 215kW series PCS. It has the advantages of reducing inter cluster circulation, improving charging and discharging efficiency, increasing power throughput during the operation cycle, and easy operation and maintenance. It is currently the largest energy storage project in China that uses series PCS. This independent energy storage power station can provide leasing services for new energy power stations, and can also participate in grid peak shaving, frequency regulation, and market-oriented transactions, helping to transform the energy structure and promote green and low-carbon development.
