Since 2013, Anhui Cable has joined hands with China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. to carry out research and development, testing, and verification of nuclear-grade cables for the "Hualong One" for nearly three years, and successfully overcome the technical difficulties of cables for third-generation nuclear power plants, and developed the "Hualong Core-grade cables in and out of the shell for the No. 1 stack type.
The R&D passed the National Defense Science and Technology Achievement Appraisal organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China National Nuclear Corporation. The product technology reached the advanced international level, filled the domestic gap, won the second prize of the nuclear energy industry science and technology, and obtained the design and manufacturing license issued by the National Nuclear Safety Administration certificate. Anlan's overcoming of key technologies for nuclear-grade cables has greatly increased the localization rate of "Hualong No. 1". At the same time, innovative technologies have provided a strong guarantee for the construction of Unit 5/6.
"Hualong No. 1" is the "national business card" for my country's nuclear power to go global, and it is also one of the most widely accepted three-generation nuclear motor types in the world's nuclear power market. Each unit of "Hualong No. 1" can generate nearly 10 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, which can meet the annual electricity demand for production and life of 1 million people in moderately developed countries. It is equivalent to reducing standard coal consumption by 3.12 million tons and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 8.16 million Ton.
The world's first commercial operation of "Hualong One" has laid a solid foundation for the mass construction of "Hualong One" and going global. It will help optimize China's energy structure, promote green and low-carbon development, and help carbon peak and achieve carbon neutrality. And goals are of great significance. In the future, Anlan will seize the opportunity of the "14th Five-Year Plan" to help develop China's nuclear power industry and promote China's nuclear power to the world.
