The complex environment such as high temperature, high-pressure steam, nuclear radiation, and corrosive chemical spray in the nuclear power plant shell requires the nuclear cable to go through various accurate analysis and verification. The 1E-class K3 and 1E-class K2 series nuclear cables passed the product type appraisal organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation in 2001 and 2007, respectively. They were assessed as at the advanced international level, filling the domestic gap. Innovative Breakthrough, Supplying "Hualong No. 1"
Since 2013, Anlan has reached a cooperation with China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. to carry out the research and development, testing, and verification of nuclear-grade cables for "Hualong One" for nearly three years, and successfully overcome the technical difficulties of cables for third-generation nuclear power plants, and developed the "Hualong Core-grade cables in and out of the shell for the No. 1 stack type. The nuclear cable product obtained the "National Defense Science and Technology Achievement Appraisal Certificate", which filled the domestic gap. In November 2020, it passed the European user requirements compliance assessment and obtained the EUR certification certificate, meeting the latest European nuclear power requirements.
The "Hualong No. 1" reactor type has achieved three "firsts" with inner-shell and outer-shell core-grade cables. For the first time, the special cable structure of low-smoke, halogen-free and flame-retardant radiation cross-linked polyolefin insulation and sheath material is adopted, which has a compact structure: Small outer diameter, lightweight, high-temperature resistance, and radiation resistance; according to the third-generation nuclear power safety requirements, the harsh environment identification conditions in the containment of the "Hualong No. 1" were determined for the first time; the relationship between β-ray and γ-ray conversion was carried out for the first time in China The calculation, analysis, and experiment of the company have solved important technical difficulties in the identification process.
On January 30, China National Nuclear Corporation announced that the world's first "Hualong No. 1" nuclear power unit, Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Unit 5, completed the full-power continuous operation assessment into commercial operation. "Hualong No. 1" is one of the three generations of nuclear motors with the highest acceptance in the current world nuclear power market and has become a national business card for my country's nuclear power to go global.
Unleash the Potential and Promote the Development of Nuclear Power
In terms of nuclear power plant construction, in addition to assisting in the construction of "Hualong One", Anlan has also accumulated Qinshan Nuclear Power, Guangxi Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant, Jiangsu Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant, Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant, Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant, Chashma Nuclear Power Plant in Pakistan, Karachi Nuclear Power Plant in Pakistan, etc. Project service experience of multiple nuclear power plant units.
